Taxes & Duties
UK
UK VAT will be applied to orders dispatched within the United Kingdom, excluding the Channel Islands. You will not be subject to any duties upon delivery.
EU
After the 31st December 2020 customers living within the EU will no longer be charged UK sales tax (VAT) on purchases from Annotated Studios. The prices on our website include VAT and any VAT deductions will show at the checkout once the delivery country has been selected. Please note that packages will be assessed for import or customs fees on entry into the destination country and you may be required to pay duties and taxes on arrival. These are the responsibility of the receiver and beyond our control.

United States
We ship orders to the United States Delivery Duty Unpaid and you will be charged the tax free price at checkout. Please note taxes and duties are not applicable for United States orders under $800 USD. Orders over this value may incur duties and import taxes upon delivery.
International
We also ship all other international orders Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) and you will be charged the tax free price at checkout. If a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) destination is selected, product prices displayed are exclusive of all taxes and duties, as well as UK VAT. This means duties and taxes are not included and you may incur duties and import taxes upon delivery. This charge is determined by your local customs authority. Payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs. For more information, please consult your local customs office. Please note taxes and duties are not applicable for Australian orders under 1000 AUD.

The Story of Annotated’s Education Collaboration
Originally created by three friends at the University of Oxford looking for a different, but elegant way to celebrate and cherish their undergraduate memories,
This project goes back to the beginnings of the small design studio that preceded our company.
Since those earliest days, Annotated has stood for the idea that, by making things well, we could imbue our products with a sense of soul. You can feel it the moment you touch one of our Signet rings.
And being the children of university lecturers and teachers it was natural for us to combine this with the notion of celebrating education and studying for its own sake.
Over the years, the Annotated graduation ring has become our definition of one-of-a-kind and bespoke: completely made-to-order in collaboration with its owner and crafted by hand from precious metals.
Whether a graduand is someone who typically is interested in fine jewellery or not.
Please note, custom-made items cannot be returned but can be cancelled within seven days of order confirmation when production is still at an early stage.
